RAVI C. RAHEJA
An alumnus of the London Business School, Ravi has over 25 years of comprehensive experience across real estate, retail and hospitality. As a second-generation entrepreneur, he has been actively involved in managing the business including finance, corporate strategy and planning. With the endeavour to build âstrong brandsâ and âcommunitiesâ, he guided the business to the build-and-hold model rather than build-and-sell, with a focus on global benchmarking. A respected name in India Inc. Ravi is an active contributor to the industry through premier forums such as Young Presidentâs Organisation (YPO) where he plays an active role as a Member Engagement Officer, and, Indian Green Building Council, where he served as the Chairman (Mumbai chapter) and as an evangelist for the green cause, spearheaded the signing of the memorandum of understanding with CII-Green Building Council to construct green buildings back in 2007. He has also been honoured with the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award – 2020 for the Energy, Real Estate, and Infrastructure category along with his brother, Mr. Neel Raheja. MR. NEEL C. RAHEJA
With a strong background in finance, a degree in Law from the Mumbai University, and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts (OPM Program), Neel has played a significant role in each of the achievements of the KRC Group.. Neel has piloted the diversification of the KRC Group and is known for his business acumen, and understanding of the ecosystem in both, global and local markets. He has also ushered the malls and department stores format in India through, Inorbit Malls, Crossword Bookstore and Shoppers Stop being the culmination of his endeavour to bring organised retail into the country. A respected name in the industry, Neel chairs some of the most important committees that shape key industry developments. He is the co-chair at CII-National Committee on Real Estate and Housing, the Chairman, India Chapter of APREA, and was President, NAREDCO West. He is also Vice Chairman of CORENET, and Advisory Committee member of MCHI-CREDAI. Neel has been appointed on the Govt. of India committee to suggest changes in the Special Economic Zone policy and was one of the members of the Champions of Change invited by the Prime Minister of India. He has previously been selected amongst the top 40 under 40 by the Economic Times and also been awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award – 2020 for the Energy, Real Estate and Infrastructure category along with his brother, Ravi Raheja.
MR. RAJNEESH MAHAJAN
With nearly 2 decades of experience in retail, he has worked on business development, store operations, retail consulting and running shopping centres. He is focused on building a strong culture and sustainable processes to drive the next phase of growth at Inorbit. Prior to joining the group in 2009, he has worked with Cushman and Wakefield, Barista Coffee and Turner Morrison Land Ltd. Rajneesh holds a bachelor’s degree of Science and MBA in Marketing & Finance from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad.
Sunil Hingorani, Director – Finance, has over 25 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and Strategy across Financial Services, FMCG and Real Estate Sectors. Sunil has been associated with K Raheja Corp for 11 years. He has led the Group’s private and public equity capital raises, debt funding for the group’s projects, acquisitions, etc. He has also been involved with various strategic initiatives of the Group across real estate, retail and hospitality businesses. He was instrumental in K Raheja Corp’s issuance of India’s first AAA rated commercial office space CMBS (Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities). He has worked closely with SEBI for the implementation of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) in India. Sunil also steers the group’s serviced office business, run in association with Servcorp. Prior to joining K Raheja Corp, Sunil worked with Nirma Limited for 7 years as the Head of Treasury. Sunil started his career as an Investment Banker with JM Financial, where he worked on various Initial Public Offerings, Mergers & Acquisition deals, Advisory Services, Equity Valuations and was involved with structuring innovative financing instruments such as Deep Discount Bonds, STRIPS, etc. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University.
