The Akshaya Patra – Mid-day Meal Initiative in Hubballi
The Akshaya Patra Foundation, supported by Inorbit Malls, continues to drive its mid-day meal programme in Hubballi, impacting over 200 students. As part of the initiative, employees visited Akshaya Patra’s central kitchen to understand its large-scale operations, and later served freshly prepared meals to students at GHPS Sutagatti, in Hubballi. The activity also included engaging with the children and encouraging them ahead of their exams, reinforcing the programme’s focus on nutrition, education and community well-being.
Spreading Christmas Cheer with The Akshaya Patra Foundation in Visakhapatnam
The Akshaya Patra Foundation, supported by Inorbit Malls, celebrated Christmas with children at Sivajipalem P.S. School in Visakhapatnam, spreading festive cheer and togetherness. As part of the initiative, meals were served in line with the mid-day meal programme, alongside activities such as a magic show, a Santa Claus interaction and the distribution of gifts. The celebration also saw participation from Inorbit Mall Visakhapatnam employees, who engaged with the children, creating a joyful and meaningful community experience.
From Live Cricket to Larger-Than-Life Aspirations with Nirmaan Organization
The Nirmaan Organization enabled 100 children from underserved communities to experience a live international cricket match in Visakhapatnam. As part of the initiative, the children attended the 3rd India vs South Africa ODI at the Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium, many for the first time, creating a memorable and aspirational experience. Building Futures with TRRAIN Job Fair Initiatives
Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India (TRRAIN) hosted a job fair in Visakhapatnam, connecting 173 trained candidates from marginalised communities with leading retail brands, with support from Inorbit Malls. As part of the initiative, candidates who underwent structured skill development and retail-readiness training participated in on-the-spot interviews, opening pathways to meaningful careers in the organised retail sector and reinforcing a shared commitment to inclusive employment.
